India denies visa to former Pak President Pervez Musharraf

India on Wednesday denied visa to former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf. Musharraf was invited to attend a seminar hosted by the Young Presidents Organization.

The conference was scheduled to be held in Delhi on Saturday.

Sources close to Home Ministry revealed that government doubted Musharraf's real intentions of visiting India.

Musharraf's recent statements defending Kargil operations may also be a behind the denial of visa.
