How do you start flirting again?

How do you start flirting again? I met this super cute guy in one of
my classes but now that the term is over I'm afraid I won't see him
again. I haven't dated in two years ( I was in a very bad relationship
that ended suddenly after a really bad series of events) and I finally
got back to a place where I feel okay to date, but I don't know how to
even begin flirting with this guy. I've talked to him a few times, but
mostly I've admired from afar. Any advice on how to get the ball
rolling?
