We all know how awkward acne pimples are, those red pimples with white puss showing off are not only painful physically but are also painful socially. I'm sure anyone that is suffering for mild to harsh acne has had situations that they need to get rid of a red pimple fast and in this article we will tackle how to do that quickly.
Whether you need to look good for a party or a date quickly, acne can be covered up and taken care of quickly with some of these methods:
1. Do not, I repeat DO NOT pick, pop, squeeze, itch, scratch or TOUCH a pimple. This is the DUMBEST thing you can do, you could end up spreading the bacteria around your face and that one pimple can turn into 2-3 more! In addition you can end up with a pretty nasty scar so PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH PIMPLES!
2. If you want to reduce the redness of a pimple you can put ice around the affected area in order to sooth the redness. After the ice has cleared up some of the redness you can put some makeup over it to hide it. Yes, this applies for men as well, a little makeup is not noticeable but a big red bump on your face is! Stop acting like its embarrassing and just put it on!
3. A little home remedy I have found that works well for me is crushing up some aspirin and mixing it with water, then, soak a towel in the mixture and rub SOFTLY around the pimple. Do not rub harshly or you will just make it worse!!
4. This may sound weird, but it actually really works well with some pimples. What you do is take a bottle of Visine, yep, Visine eye drops, and apply a few drops on the pimple.
5. This is an oldie but a goodie - take a little bit of toothpaste (minty toothpastes not fruity ones) and apply it to the pimple before you go to bed. The menthol and toothpaste mixture will relax the pimple and reduce swelling and redness!
Remember, these are just solutions to help cover up your acne, these WILL NOT help you prevent breakouts in the future. While these "tricks" do help conceal acne quickly what you should be looking to do is prevent acne completely! Imagine yourself without anymore breakouts or pimples, that is the way to go, Prevention!
